My qualifications and experience in self-regulation and related fields include being a certified Shanker Self-Reg® and ALERT Program® for Self-Regulation practitioner and a professional educator with years of experience working with children, adolescents, and families. My background in education has allowed me to integrate self-regulation principles into various settings effectively. For more details, please visit my about page.

My approach to teaching self-regulation skills is based on the principles of Shanker Self-Reg® and the ALERT Program®. I focus on helping individuals and families understand the importance of self-regulation, identify stressors, and develop practical strategies to reduce stress and improve well-being. This is achieved through a combination of individualized coaching, workshops, and programs. For more information, please refer to my services page.

I have worked with numerous clients who have experienced positive results from our collaboration. Testimonials and case studies can be found on my testimonials page, showcasing the success stories of individuals and families who have benefited from my self-regulation programs.

I typically work with clients across various age ranges and backgrounds, including children, adolescents, and their families. My services address specific challenges such as social & emotion regulation challenges, stress management, transition challenges at home or school, behavioural concerns, self-regulation skill deficits and parenting support. For more information, visit my services page.

The timeline for progress in self-regulation improvement varies for each individual, as it depends on factors such as the client’s unique challenges, commitment to the process, and the level of support received in all contexts. Generally, clients can expect to see progress over the course of the program as they consistently apply self-regulation strategies.

I personalize my approach by conducting a thorough assessment of each client’s unique needs, challenges, and goals in the initial session. This allows me to tailor self-regulation strategies and interventions to best support each individual or family. Learn more about my approach on the services page.

I offer ongoing support and resources for clients after completing a program. This may include follow-up sessions, access to additional resources, and periodic check-ins to ensure continued success in self-regulation. For more information, please contact me.

I believe in the importance of collaboration and, with consent, working closely with other professionals in the client’s support network. This collaborative approach ensures a comprehensive and consistent support system for the client, enhancing the effectiveness of self-regulation interventions.

My availability and scheduling options for the Self-regulation 1-1 program run alongside the West Australian school term schedule and are offered Monday to Friday.  To discuss specific scheduling options for workshops, events, and professional development or to check my current availability, please contact me.
